As always with Carmènére, there is so much happening in the nose, mouthfeel and finish of this varietal. The name originates from the French word for "crimson" (carmin), which refers to the brilliant crimson color of autumn foliage prior to leaf-fall. The appearance of our 2023 vintage represents just that, it's gorgeous! It opens up with notes of light green tomatillo, followed with pomegranate, and juicy plum. A bright finish with medium body, acidity and tannin.
